What we do

Packing and crating
Full or partial packing, plus a complete line of boxes and supplies and custom crating for artwork, marble, and anything else that will not survive a standard carton. Most of the households who find us start here.

Local moving
Sterling, Ashburn, Herndon, Leesburg, Reston, Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, and the DC corridors. Padded and wrapped furniture, floor protection, and a full-time crew rather than whoever was available that morning.

Long distance and international
We start and terminate moves anywhere in the world. Interstate relocations run end to end with one point of contact from the estimate through the delivery window, and we handle international moves as well.

Storage
A DoD approved warehouse in Sterling for the gap between closing dates, a deployment, or a downsize that needs somewhere to land. Everything inventoried and wrapped until you are ready for it.
A move is a mission
Campbell Moving & Storage was founded by a U.S. combat veteran family in 1978, which makes us one of the oldest moving and storage companies in Northern Virginia. We approach each move as a mission: build the plan, brief the crew, hit the objective. Since then we have relocated tens of thousands of families and businesses. One thing worth knowing when you compare movers here. From the office staff to the crew chiefs, drivers, and movers, our crews are full-time employees, not day labor picked up for the morning. Several of them have been doing this for more than twenty years. That is the difference you feel on the day, and it is the reason our estimates are not the cheapest ones you will get. We work out of Sterling with a DoD approved warehouse, and we move locally, across the country, and internationally.
